School and Community unite for Experiential Learning Week

Posted on:

Fox Creek students in Grades 7 to 12 participate in custom designed week of learning with help from community and educational partners

So what exactly is an Experiential Learning Week?

Experiential learning is learning through experience. This week provides a variety of different programming for Grades 7-12 students during a one week in-depth experience taught by industry and field experts and teachers.

Students choose their areas of interest from options like Robotics, Electrical, Musical Theatre, Welding, Culinary Arts, Business Entrepreneurship, Automotives and Video Production.

Join us for the Showcase and Celebration on Friday, April 7, 2017 from 1:30 pm to 3:20 pm at Fox Creek School.

Students will be sharing their journey through prototype designs and a gallery walk featuring the various programs. Musical Theatre students will perform A Chorus Line Musical live and Video Production students will showcase their week-long experience in a movie.
