OJSH receives grant for new school track!

Onoway Jr/Sr High students will have a brand new outdoor running track thanks to a grant of $121,314!

OJSH has been approved for a grant of $121,314 from the Alberta Government's Community Facility Enhancement Program to assist with the construction of a full-size running/walking track. 

NGPS Superintendent Kevin Andrea commented: "The Onoway Parents' Education Association and school administrators are to be commended for their resourcefulness and work in sourcing and applying for this grant. There is no doubt that the new running track will benefit students for years to come, not to mention the potential it has to positively effect the quality of life in the community of Onoway!"

The new track will provide students with a place to train, exercise, learn and compete! Congratulations!

The Community Facility Enhancement Program (CFEP) is administered by Alberta Culture and Tourism and aims to foster healthy, vibrant communities across Alberta. Thank you!!
