Hilltop Jr/Sr High School issued a Hold and Secure today following a rumour of a threat to the school and out of an abundance of caution. All students are safe.

The rumour was tracked down by RCMP and NGPS and confirmed to be not real at 1:21 PM. The school will remain in Hold and Secure for the rest of the day, but will dismiss normally. Thank you to everyone who assisted in tracking down the rumour.
