Potential for grade re-configuration of Whitecourt schools

Posted on:

As part of capital planning, the Division has connected with each school and parent council in Whitecourt to discuss possible future building and grade level arrangements.

Currently, students in Whitecourt move through four schools during their K-12 experience: primary, elementary, middle and high school. One possibility for change is to move to a K-5 elementary model where students attend one school for their first six years and then move to middle school and then high school.
