National Day of Mourning, April 28
Posted on:
NGPS flags are flying at half mast today in honour of workers who have died, were injured or became ill as a result of their employment.
Marked annually in Canada on April 28, the National Day of Mourning is dedicated to remembering those who have lost their lives, suffered injury or illness on the job, or experienced a work-related tragedy.
Such losses have a profound impact on families, friends, employers, and co-workers. We can make a difference by working together to make workplaces safer.
