CTF Baking Challenge a hit with students at Hilltop Jr/Sr High (HTH)!

Grade 9 students culminated their Baking Unit with a tasty teamwork challenge designed to showcase their skills and creativity. In the spirit of TLC's CAKE BOSS, the challenge had teams working together to design, bake and decorate a cake. Cakes were then judged by a panel according to criteria including taste - moistness, dryness, lightness, sweetness - and presentation - first impression, neatness, theme, uniqueness. 

HTH teacher Ms. Mercer commented that "it was a challenging week full of new experiences, teamwork, creativity and exploration for the students who were really engaged in the experience." 

It was also challenging (and tasty) for the judges in attendance with nine delicious cakes and styles to score.
