Hour Zero begins comprehensive emergency preparedness training with NGPS schools

Hour Zero is with us in Whitecourt today facilitating school emergency preparedness training for Whitecourt and Fox Creek school/site leaders. The training marks phase two of the division's work in delivering a standardized and comprehensive emergency program throughout NGPS schools and in cooperation with our First Responders, media and other community partners. All NGPS schools and sites are participating in the training sessions which follow individual school/site assessments conducted by Hour Zero this past Fall.

Staff are reviewing terminology, protocols, resources, best practices and communication processes and tools as part of the training.
