Today marked an exciting milestone as we gathered with representatives from the Alberta Government, the Town of Valleyview, the MD of Greenview, and the Valleyview Municipal Library to officially announce the approval and future site of a brand new K–12 public school in Valleyview!

This $53.3 million investment reflects a strong commitment to the community’s growth and future, bringing modern learning amenities, local jobs, and enhanced infrastructure to support current and future learners and community leaders.  

NGPS Board Chair, Gerry Steinke, spoke to the shared vision and collaboration of many in bringing the new school to Valleyview: “It's taken a lot of determination, and the hearts and hands of many to get this exemplary model of a new rural school to this point. Everyone who shared in this vision knew we wouldn't do it until we got it right. This is right - for our students and for our community."
