Northern Gateway Public Schools is pleased to welcome Mr. Jason Yaremchuk to the Division as Director of Information Technology.
Mr. Yaremchuk will oversee technology operations for Northern Gateway Public Schools, ensuring that students and staff have the technology, training and resources they need.

“We are excited to have Mr. Yaremchuk join the NGPS team,” commented NGPS Superintendent Kevin Andrea. “Jason’s experience and training will serve our students well as we continue to grow and enhance technology services and opportunities within our Division.”

Mr. Yaremchuk comes to us from Buffalo Trail Public Schools where he has served as Network Manager since 2005. He brings with him extensive knowledge and experience in IT systems, network design and pedagogy. Mr. Yaremchuk’s background includes managing technology enhancement services at both the public and private level, researching and implementing innovative technologies and providing technical expertise, recommendations and resources to support schools.

Mr. Yaremchuk has a Bachelor of Applied Systems Technology, a Diploma in Computer Systems Technology and a host of technical and project management certifications.

“It is with great pride and excitement that I accept the position of Director of Information Technology with Northern Gateway Public Schools,” shared Yaremchuk. “I am honoured to be joining the respected and talented team at NGPS. I will be fully committed to learner excellence for our students, staff and community.”

Mr. Yaremchuk will assume his new duties with Northern Gateway in July of 2015.
