NGPS honours staff and retirees at 19th annual Employee Recognition Evening!

Dr. Seuss' Oh, the places you'll go was the inspiration for this year's Employee Recognition Evening held at Westward Community Hall.

"The evening is our opportunity to recognize the work of our staff (their years of service) and to celebrate the careers of our retiring staff," commented NGPS Board Chair Judy Muir. "It is our way of showing our appreciation for the many individuals who make our school division."

Teachers, secretaries, support staff, custodians, bus drivers, educational assistants, electricians, contractors - 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and yes, 35 year employees of the Division were honoured by their colleagues, friends, co-workers, trustees and superintendent with dinner under the "truffula trees," the always popular trustee ice cream bar and sincere thanks for their commitment and service.
